Graduate Fellowship Description
The University of Victoria requests applications from Masters Graduate students for the available position of:
Cellular and synaptic neurophysiology.
The fields of interest for the fellowship will be research will combine electrophysiology with fluorescence imaging to study nervous system. We will primarily use olfactory bulb and related structures as a model system for these studies but also work in other systems that are suited to exploring basic principles of neural function and regulation such as frog and crayfish neuromuscular junction.
The position is available immediately to study cellular and synaptic neurophysiology.
The objective of the research is to study in:depth the different aspects of cellular and synaptic neurophysiology.
Requirements of applicants are to be a Masters graduate student.
