Graduate Fellowship Description
The University of Waterloo requests applications from PhD Graduate students for the available position of:
Evaluate the long:term effect of elevated CO2 concentrations and temperature on soil.
The fields of interest for the fellowship will be agricultural and the research will include analysis of soil chemical and biological characteristics.
The applicant may have a chance to work even furthermore on this research in close connection to the director.
The objective of the research is to predict changes in soil carbon and nitrogen under future climate change scenarios.
Requirements of applicants are a strong background in the biophysical sciences (soil science, agriculture, environmental science, or related fields). Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. The applicant should be eligible for NSERC or other major scholarships.
The University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.
