Graduate Fellowship Description
The University of Saskatchewan requests applications from Postdoctoral Graduate students for the available position of:
Integration of lentil (both cultivated and wild) genetic and genomic resources with current lentil varietal development.
The fields of interest for the fellowship will be analysis software and conduct analysis associated with the introduction of new molecular sign programs for application within the lentil reproduction system.
The successful candidate will pursue research projects relating to the integration of lentil (both cultivated and wild) genetic and genomic resources with current lentil varietal development.
Requirements of applicants are that they must hold a recent PhD (less than 5 years) in Plant Sciences, Biology, or other relevant disciplines, must be fluent in English (oral and written), be highly motivated and be able to demonstrate an ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve timely research and publication goals.
The University is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. We have a physical task complex (PAC) that features a 13,500 sq ft gymnasium, a multiple health and fitness center along with a 42-ft Rock climbing wall. Complementing the establishments are technique choices in aquatics, celebration, fitness and unique would like.
