The institute, Dalhousie University requests applications from Postdoctoral Graduate students for the available position of:
Translational pre-clinical validation and development of novel nano medicines for cardiovascular disease.
The fields of interest for this fellowship will be cardiovascular surgery procedures for pre-clinical validation in cardiovascular disease, confidential handling of clinical patient information and interpretation and clinical trial management.
This position will involve extensive training and opportunity for translational science in health and commercial innovation.
The placement calls for substantial training and professional development.
The objective of this cardiovascular research and work is to learn the procedures and research involved with Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery.
Requirements of applicants are candidates will hold an advanced degree (PhD or equivalent) in nano engineering pharmaceutical, biochemical or molecular sciences. Experience in nano particle formulation, lipid biochemistry or applied nanotechnology will be considered an asset.
