Graduate Degree & Funding description
Yorks restructured Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree provides a unique combination of management education, program analysis and evaluation, and public policy analysis and development. In designing and developing the MPA program, Schulich has joined forces with members of York Universitys Political Science Department.
An undergraduate degree from a recognized university with at least a B average in the last two full years (or equivalent) of academic work. An acceptable score on all four measurements of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). Two years of relevant full-time work or life experience post degree. Two years of relevant work experience following graduation required from applicants with a three year undergraduate degree. The Schulich School of Business operates entirely in English. The pace of study is rapid, and it is essential that students have high oral and written proficiency in English.

Training opportunities and funding are provided through research assistantships in the student's field of study, teaching assistantships with relevant undergraduate programs and/or graduate assistantships with faculty members or research units.
At the time of offer of admission, qualified graduate students are provided with a guaranteed funding package for the duration of their program.
