Graduate Scholarship Description
$7 500 - $10 000 available for a Masters degree or a Doctoral Degree
Since the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Program`s inception in 1959 the Government of Canada has provided scholarships of excellence to all member countries of the Commonwealth for a Masters Degree or Doctoral degree.
The goal of the CCSP is to promote Canadian values and identity around the world and to help meet the human capital needs of developing countries.
The CCSP provides short-term exchange opportunities for candidates from Commonwealth countries for study or research in Canada for a Masters Degree or Doctoral degree.
Scholarship awarded on basis of :
Undertaking studies or research in science and technology.
Additional important information
Projects with a scientific research component will be prioritized.

1.) Undertaking study or research in science or technology; and
2.) have not previously studied in Canada under a Canadian Government scholarship.
Must be a citizen of one of the eligible countries;
Must not have obtained Canadian citizenship or have applied for permanent residency in Canada;
Must not already be participating in an exchange program in Canada;
Must not already be enrolled in a degree or diploma program at a Canadian University or College;
Must be proficient in either English or French.
