Graduate Scholarship Description
The Ocean Industries Student Research Awards designed for post-secondary undergraduate and graduate students in Canada and around the world who are interested in pursuing ocean industries-related studies and research in Newfoundland and Labrador at Memorial University, its Marine Institute, or the College of the North Atlantic.
Scholarship awarded on basis of :
Prior to initial disbursement, the student must be accepted in a program of study related to ocean industries and be registered as a full-time student at Memorial University of Newfoundland. Any student that does not receive a CGS or PGS, including international students, must complete the full RDC Ocean Industries Student Research Award Supplement application and apply directly.
Students may still be eligible for a full RDC Ocean Industries Student Research Award Supplement in the event that an NSERC application is unsuccessful.
Additional important information
There are up to 10 supplements available to CGS or PGS award holders, but the total is subject to change (based on the quality of research proposals received and the recommendations of RDC
