Masters or Doctorate Degree in Geography | Research Fellowships Available
Doctorate Degree in Geography and Masters Degree in Geography at Bishop`s University.
Environmental Studies and Geography, with its major focus on human-environment interaction, is a broad discipline which analyzes the distribution and interrelationships of physical and human phenomena on the earth.
It combines subject matter and methodologies from both the natural and social sciences. Since its founding in 1961, the academic mission of our department has been to provide to undergraduate students a solid grounding in the study of people and the environment.
This focus has been consistent with Bishop’s University’s overall commitment to undergraduate programmes providing a liberal arts and science education.
I have funding available to support a Masters student (possibly Doctorate) conducting palynological research. The proposed topic is Holocene millennial-scale variability in paleoceanographic records from the eastern Canadian margin. Other paleoenvironmental projects may be available. Skills in palynology are an asset. Interested students should contact me ([email protected]) for more information on the application process or procedures.
